16 women from Carlow Dragon Boat Club picked for Irish International team

16 women from the Carlow Dragon Boat Club have been picked on the Irish International Women’s Dragon Boat team.

The girls will be part of the team to represent Ireland at the Roma 2016 European Dragon Boat Nations Championships in July this year.

Since July of 2015 a number of the members have been training and trialing to earn a position on the Irish International Women’s Dragon Boat Team.

Last weekend after a time trial the final crew was selected and these women will be part of the team to represent Ireland at the Roma 2016 – 12th EDBF European Dragon Boat Nations Championships in July this year.
