Streets of Kilkenny 5k

Covid 19 unfortunately put an end to alot of things we have all been looking forward to, and for runners in Kilkenny there is no better event then the Streets of Kilkenny 5k.

Originally scheduled for April 2020, which then got moved to August 6th 2020, until finally the date was left indefinite.

It has now been confirmed that the the race will now go ahead on Friday October 22nd at 7.30pm.

Anyone who entered originally will have their entry automatically transferred to this date, but if this does not suit, you can claim a refund.

  • IF YOU WANT TO RUN IN THE EVENT ON FRIDAY OCTOBER 22ND, YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO ANYTHING
  • IF YOU WANT TO CLAIM A REFUND, EMAIL [email protected] WITH THE SUBJECT “KILKENNY REFUND” AND IT WILL BE PROCESSED IN THE NEXT 10 DAYS

The event will reopen for entry on Monday next, so if you have not claimed a refund by then, it is assumed you are running on the night, and a refund will not be possible after this date.

In what is sure to be an emotional night for the organizers Kilkenny City Harriers after such a long layoff, we wish everyone the best of luck in their preperation and on the night!
