The Leinster Cross Country Championships take place this Sunday at 1 o clock in Kilmacow in Kilkenny.
PRO of St. Senans Athletic Club Gerry Madden says the recent weather conditions will provide the course with a good test.
They’ve also had to make some changes to the track due to the ground conditions, Gerry spoke to KCLR’s Michael O Leary……
“There’s been a tremendous amount of rain down this neck of the woods alright, expected of course a little bit in that we have changed the course slighty just so that we don’t go onto the running track which we normally did before”
“It will be cut up too much, so we have taken in a different field, the course will probably be soft and its a good test in a cross country course”
