Gowran Park, Kilkenny, plays host this Saturday to the fourth annual race day for Kilkenny GAA, one of the biggest fundraising events in the calendar year for the senior players training and holiday fund.
One of the highlights of the race day this year will be the coming together of Kilkenny All-Ireland winning captains going back to 1963 while there will also be members of the 2016 panel on hand with the Liam McCarthy cup for photographs and autographs.
Kilkenny PRO Seamus Reade spoke to Dean Egan earlier today to give us the full insight as to what’s happening on Saturday.
It’s a busy card of national hunt racing with the first race off at 2.10pm.
