With the Carlow senior football championship heading into round two, and a full slate of hurling in Kilkenny, it’s going to be a busy one for Scoreline and KCLR this weekend.

Our live coverage begins on Friday evening with the meeting of Bagenalstown Gaels and Ballinabranna at 7.30pm in the Carlow senior football championship second round.

That one is followed on Saturday evening with defending county champions Rathvilly squaring off against Palatine at 7.15pm in Netwatch Cullen Park.

While there are two games to play out on Sunday, we’ll be in the stands for the first part of a doubleheader as Tinryland and Éire Óg meet in the county grounds from 4pm. All our football coverage in Carlow this championship season is with thanks to Dan Morrissey & Co.

On the hurling front, we’ll be bringing you a double header of senior hurling action live from UPMC Nowlan Park on Saturday afternoon with Adrian Ronan and Aidan ‘Taggy’ Fogarty calling the shots.

Up first, it’s the city derby between James Stephens and O’Loughlin Gaels at 2pm, followed by the meeting of Erin’s Own and 2021’s senior champions Ballyhale Shamrocks.

Our hurling coverage this weekend is with thanks to Hickey Hire and Gerry Comerford Drilling Ltd. Check out all of this weekend’s club hurling action here.

Catch all five games live on air, in the KCLR app and right here on Scoreline.ie.
