Former Wexford Senior Hurler Tom Dempsey says they will go into Saturday weeks Leinster Championship clash with Kilkenny having more hope than normal.
Speaking to KCLR, Tom says Wexford’s League Quarter-Final victory between the two counties has set the game up for an occasion to savor.
“Whatever about the result or whatever about the game itself, if Kilkenny win comfortably it could happen as well, but certainly above all I think it’s going to be one hell of an occasion down in Wexford Park so we are really really looking forward to it.
“I would say tickets will be at a premium and I suppose Wexford will go into the game with a little more hope than normal when playing Kilkenny.
“But I think their will be a fair realization that it’s going to be a very tough battle and we may just have stirred up a hornets nest maybe a month or two ago in the League Quarter-Final”
