The Presentation Secondary School Kilkenny’s 1st year soccer team have won the David Buggy KIA Motors and KCLR Sports Star award for May.
On the short list for the month was Kilkenny Rugby Club, Evergreen FC and The Presentation Secondary School, but it was the school who got the most public votes.
The first year students were celebrating last month with a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Scoil Mhuire of Buncrana to take the First Year Girls National Cup trophy.
This is the latest example from the school who continue to excel on the sporting at local and national level.
