Evergreen A manager Gary Maher says that Freshford Town are in a false position in Division 3 for the talent they have.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of tonight’s KCLR McCalmont Cup Quarter-Final clash against Freshford, Gary says their opponents are a top quality outfit.

“First and foremost, we are expecting a very tough challenge. I suppose when we look at Freshford coming back into the League this year, they are riding high, they look like they have it between themselves and East End to win Division 3.

“They are going very well on their League form, but if you probably look at themselves and East End, they are probably in a false league with the players and the talent that they both have.

“They are probably in a false position in that sense in that they would have a lot better quality than what would show for the Division.

“No disrespect to the other teams in Division 3, but they would have a lot better better quality to show than most of the other teams so we are expecting a really tough challenge.

“Freshford is never an easy place to go and we are expecting no different this Thursday night,” he said.

Kick off tonight is at 7pm.
