Carlow & District League Soccer Captain Cathal Coughlan says the Clubs deserve immense credit for helping get them to an Oscar Traynor final against either Kilkenny or Clare.
Speaking to KCLR after Saturday’s victory, Cathal says the management team have galvanized the squad together.
“It’s a huge honor to lead out them bunch of boys. Every single one of them, you can see out there, the effort they put in, it’s great to be involved and it’s great to get Carlow to an All-Ireland Final.
“I suppose a couple of boys came back in that have been away, they have been massive, the management are two great lads, they are two characters, but I think they bring the set-up closer together.
“When we come down to training, there is a laugh and a joke, everyone enjoys it, a lot of credit goes to the club teams.
“We only get together once a week in the three or four weeks leading up to the matches but there is really good club coaches in Carlow and they have all their players flying,” he said.
