Bennettsbridge and St. Patrick’s Ballyragget played out a thrilling draw in their intermediate hurling championship final at Nowlan Park on Sunday afternoon.
With Ballyragget looking like they would pull away in the second half, Nicky Cleere’s free taking really came to the fore, helping drive the ‘Bridge towards a nail-biting conclusion and ultimately to a replay, with the exact date and time yet to be fixed.
Listen back to full commentary below from former Kilkenny hurlers Adrian Ronan and Michael Walsh.
The winners were due to play Coill Dubh of Kildare in the AIB Leinster Intermediate Club Championship this coming Sunday (October 25th) at a Kilkenny venue but those details have yet to be finalised given the pending replay.
