Galway are through to their first ever Leinster Under-21 Hurling Final.
They survived a late onslaught from DJ Carey’s Kilkenny side to win by 3-13 to 1-17 in Tullamore.
John Donnelly hit the net in injury time and an effort from Tommy Walsh appeared to sail over the bar immediately after only for it to be waved wide by the umpires.

They’ll face Wexford in the next month’s final after they beat Dublin 3-15 to 3-12 at Parnell Park.
Speaking to KCLR after the game, DJ says that Galway got the goals when it mattered.
