Galway Senior Defender Padraic Mannion says they need the few weeks off having played 4 games in the space of 4 weeks in the Round Robin section of the Leinster Championship.
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s Leinster Final, Padraic says they are re-engergised after the break and looking forward to getting going again for the massive challenge of Kilkenny on Sunday.
“I suppose it’s more like than what we are used to in previous seasons, but you would want a few weeks break though from the games after playing all them games, but we are looking forward to the game that is coming again in a Leinster Final.
“Any game that you get in Croke Park as a hurler it’s hugely important and a massive challenge and definitely one that you would be definitely looking forward to,” he said.
