Palatine Senior Football manager Niall Carew admits that the club scene has been a challenge this year .

Speaking to KCLR ahead of tomorrow evening’s clash against Rathvilly, Niall says the response in training from the squad has been first class so far given the fact that there is a lot happening this summer.

“Getting back into club scene is a different animal than County anyway.

“I had to adjust myself to that with lads working shift work and working late and things like that, it’s different with me in that sense.

“But these lads are very committed, they are a good group of guys, they are all striving for the one thing which is to win every game they play,” he said.
