Ireland Rugby Under-20 player Charlie Ward says that training sessions in the Leinster set-up are enjoyable if tough despite the early morning starts.
The Tullow native has been called up to the International squad for the upcoming World Cup and speaking to KCLR, Charlie says his 3rd level college UCD are always accommodating when it comes to arranging study and exams around the Rugby.
He said “It’s tough because it’s such early morning as well like, it’s kind of 7, 8 0’clock in the morning starts trying to get over from Clontarf to there (UCD) to train, but it’s really enjoyable, if you have anything in college you need to get there anything, there is leeway around everything for you to go, you can make it up another time or they are not going to hold you back and say you have to be training here so”.
