Green grass at field for golf stretches into distance

St. Lachtains Intermediate Manager Tommy Buggy is expecting another close game between the two Teams on Sunday.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s Intermediate Championship Quarter-Final replay with Dunnamaggin, Tommy says they were lucky to get the draw last Saturday.

He said “We were lucky really to get the draw out of it in the end, like we were 0-10 to 0-3 down after 18 minutes and we fought hard to get back into it, but Dunnamaggin will probably feel the happier, they got the goal to equalise at the end, but they outplayed us for most of the first-half and at times in the 2nd half then they were the better team, but there is not a whole lot between them, let’s be honest about it, probably only a puck of the ball in it one way or the other next Sunday”.
