Carlow Rugby gearing up for local derby game against Tullow Rugby this weekend.
The two sides meet in Oak Park on Sunday in the first game for both sides of the Leinster League Division 1B.
Carlow are coming off a defeat to Gorey in the South East J2 League while Tullow defeated Wexford Wanderers RFC their last time out.
Ross Elms , Carlow Rugby captain, says they are looking to hit the ground running.
“I’m looking forward to the game this weekend. It’s always a tasty affair. The time between training now and the build up is always the toughest part but we are looking forward to hit the ground running.”
Kilkenny Rugby Club will also be in action against Ashbourne in two seperate home fixtures
