Chelsea are hoping to have Thomas Tuchel installed as their new manager for tomorrow’s Premier League game against Wolves.
The German will replace Frank Lampard, who was sacked yesterday.
Jose Mourinho won three Premier League titles with Chelsea, but despite all that, he was sacked by the club twice.
He’s a man that has “been there, done that, wore the t-shirt” when it comes to being sacked by clubs.

Regarding Frank Lampard’s sacking he said “That’s the brutality of football, especially the brutality of modern football so when you become a manager, it’s something that you have to know that sooner or later something is going to happen to you”.
It’s Roman Abramovich’s 10th managerial sacking and he even issued a personal statement of thanks to the outgoing man.
Chelsea’s next game is against Wolves when they visit Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night and it’s understood that Tuchel is in prime position for the managers job having been available since leaving Paris St Germain last month.
Tuchel’s managerial record includes back-to-back league titles with Paris St Germain and took them to the Champions League final only five months ago, when they lost to Bayern Munich.
He was replaced at the French club by Mauricio Pochettino.
