After an epic encounter that needed extra time, Carlow’s Ladies Gaelic football team are out of the Junior Football All Ireland championship at the semi-final stage.
Antrim’s second-half extra time performance seen them secure an appearance in the final against Wicklow after a scoreline of 3-22 to 3-18.
Both sides knew each other well having been drawn in the group stages at the same venue but late goals in extra-time saw Antrim get over the line to claim the win.
Carlow’s Clíodhna Ní Shé did find the net in the first half of extra time to complete her hat-trick but Antrim dug deep and will now play Wicklow in the decider at Croke Park.
