Four local lads, two from New Oak Boys and two from Crettyard United have been named on the squads for the region’s cup play-off.
Cian Dowling and David O’Shea from New Oak along with Jack Brady and Lee Salter from Crettyard Utd are part of region two which is headed up by James Quinn.
The squad that wins the playoff will represent Ireland at the UEFA Regions Cup qualifying round in October this year.
Playoffs will take place in the AUL Complex, Clonshaugh, Dublin, on Saturday, March 12 at 2 pm.
Ross Carrig, head coach of Region One, has five Rockmount players and strong representation from St. Michael’s and Fairview Rangers.
There are four players from last year’s Extra.ie FAI Men’s Senor Cup quarter-finalists Maynooth University Town in James Quinn’s Region Two squad as well as four from Killarney Celtic.
