Kilkenny 3-18
Offaly 2-07
Kilkenny proved far too strong for Offaly at UPMC Nowlan Park on Saturday as they maintained their 100% record in the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship.
An opening free from Denise Gaule saw Kilkenny begin the game in perfect fashion and they refused to relent throughout the course of a one-sided affair.
A Katie Nolan goal towards the end of the first half along with a string of fine points from dead balls and from play saw Brian Dowling’s side take a 1-13 to 1-01 lead into half-time.
The lob-sided nature of the game continued into the second half with Nolan grabbing a second goal to add to a cluster of scores that pulled the 2020 All-Ireland champions even further away from their opponents.
Julieanne Malone added another goal for the home team and they saw the remainder of the affair out without any serious issues other than a late consolation goal from the visitors to seal a fourth consecutive victory.
Next up for Kilkenny is a clash with Galway with an All-Ireland semi-final spot on the line.
