People will walk, jog, run, drive, fly, cycle, get the bus or the train to Dublin this Sunday for a chance of sitting in Croke Park to see Kilkenny take on Limerick in this year’s All-Ireland senior hurling championship final.
On the train front, Irish Rail have already added additional trains while increasing supply for their existing services to and from Dublin on Sunday.
“We are doing special services for Kilkenny fans for the final as well as adding extra capacity to scheduled services”, Irish Rail’s Barry Kenny has been telling KCLR.
“For Sunday itself, trains are selling out fast but there is still availability on our 9.09 special service from Kilkenny, which will also serve Baganelstown, get people to Heuston at 10.32, and on a couple of the trains back in the evening.”
“Customers who want to travel with us to the All-Ireland final must book in advance. Tickets will not be available on the day, but there is still some availability on the special service.”
