A late rally from Kilkenny seen them beat Wexford by three points last night to clinch the Leinster Intermediate title.
The cats were trailing by a point with 4 minutes to go but 4 points in quick succession stole the game off the hosts in Innovate Wexford Park.
At one stage Wexford had led by six points and although Kilkenny missed a 14 shots, they hit them over as the final whistle approached.
The final score Kilkenny 3-14, Wexford 2-14 and they’ll now play Munster champions Clare on the 6th August.
Kilkenny manager Pat O Grady says they’re happy to get out of there despite how close it was.
