Massive Weekend Of GAA Action Ahead For Both Counties

Kilkenny Intermediate team named for All Ireland Final

Its a massive weekend of action in both counties this weekend, with the Final Round of League Fixtures taking place in the Kilkenny Leagues,

While in Carlow the Senior and Intermediate Football Championship Finals are all down for decision.

The Carlow Junior Hurling Final is the prize on offer for Ballinkillen and Naomh Eoin tonight at 8.15 in Netwatch Cullen Park.

Before that at 6.45 Clonmore face Grange in the Intermediate Football Championship Quarter Final.

And at the Netwatch Training Centre St Mullins face Erins Own in the Carlow u21 Hurling Semi Final at 7.30.

Tomorrow theres a Football triple header at Netwatch Cullen Park with Kilbride facing the Fighting Cocks in the Intermediate Quarter Final at 3.15

Thats followed by the Senior Football Quarter Finals between Eire Og and Mount Leinster Rangers at 5pm and Old Leighlin versus Tinryland at 6.30.

In Kilkenny tomorrow all of the Intermediate League games start at 2pm with St Lachtains facing Carrickshock, Lisdowney up against Dunnamaggin and Tullogher Rosbercon taking on Thomastowin in Group A.

While in Group B its Glenmore versus Young Irelands, Tullaroan and St Pats Ballyragget and Graigue Ballycallan against Conahy Shamrocks.

The Senior League games all begin at 5pm with O Loughlin Gaels facing Ballyhale Shamrocks in a top of the table Group A clash, Clara play Danesfort and Erins Own face Mullinavat.

And in Group B its Dicksboro up against the Rower Inistioge, Fenians play Bennetsbridge and St Martins play James Stephens.

Plenty to whet the appetite!
