Thomastown Camogie Senior manager Ken Walsh says that their comprehensive victory over Mullinavat in the League Final was in no way a fair reflection of the game.
The two sides meet again in Sunday’s County Senior Final and speaking to KCLR, Ken says that Mullinavat will be determined not to relinquish the Championship easily.
“If a neutral saw the game itself, they would probably say (and you didn’t hear a score) you would say god that is a very close match. I think we just took a couple of our chances where they didn’t and we will be expecting a hell of a battle on Sunday of course, I mean the two teams are very familar with each other. I wouldn’t be expecting anything less from Mullinavat. They are not going to let their Championship that they won last year go without a fight, and they also have major motivation coming in after losing in the League Final, but like I said, it wasn’t even a fair reflection on the scoreline it kind of flattered of us in the League Final I kind of thought”
