Kilkenny will field an under 21 selection for tonights Walsh Cup Opener with DCU at Dunmore.
The Senior side are not expected to return from their team Holiday until tomorrow, so Eddie Brennan will handle proceedings for tonights game which gets underway at 7.30.
In recent years Kilkenny have generally fielded the under 21 team for the entire Walsh Cup, but it’s expected that the Senior Team will play the remaining two group games after tonight which are against Antrim on 15th January and Westmeath the following week.
