Kilkenny were just edged out by Waterford in their League opener at Nowlan Park yesterday.
The Cats trailed by 1-11 to 10 points at the break and rallied late on in the second half but Patrick Curran’s first half goal proved to be the decisive score with the Deise winning out by 1-15 to 17 points.
