It was Junior B football last night in Carlow and with updates going out on The Frequency on KCLR last night, it was level pegging at the final whistle with Tinryland and Old Leighlin finishing 1-12 apiece at the Netwatch Training Centre in Fenagh.
Likewise with Naomh Eoin and O’Hanrahans, the sides will have to do it all over again next week.
As mentioned earlier in the week, it’s all about the U21 A semi-finals this Saturday in Netwatch Cullen Park as St. Andrew’s and Palatine meet at 2.30pm while Éire Óg put their title on the line against Tinryland at 4pm. To complete a triple header on the day, Mount Leinster Rangers and Old Leighlin meet again to replay their drawn quarter-final game in the Michael Lyng Motors senior football championship.
Minor Football Championship Semi-Finals
The semi-final pairings for the A and B minor football championships have been made and see Éire Óg host Mount Leinster Rangers (A) while Palatine host Rathvilly (A). Burren Rangers take on Kildavin-Clonegal (B) with Naomh Eoin meeting Slaney Rangers (B) in the fourth semi-final fixture.
Minor Hurling Championship
We already know that Mount Leinster Rangers, Erins Own, Ballinkillen and Naomh Eoin are through to the minor hurling championship semi-final stage but it will take a back game between Naomh Eoin and Erins Own to decide the placings as to who plays who.
That game throws in at 7.30pm in Myshall on Monday evening.
