It’s a feast of camogie, hurling and football on KCLR this weekend as we bring you eight live games from the business end of the local championships.
Beginning on Saturday we’ll be live in Tullaroan from 11.15am, exclusively online, for the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Kilkenny senior camogie championship semi-final between defending county champions Dicksboro and last year’s beaten finalists Piltown.
Our on-air coverage begins at 12.30pm with the St. Canice’s Credit Union Kilkenny senior hurling championship relegation final between Lisdowney and Graigue-Ballycallan in Freshford.
That’s followed immediately by a return to Tullaroan for the second senior camogie championship semi-final of the day as Clara take on Thomastown in what should be a tightly-contested affair.
We’ll be over to the minor hurling championship final in Kilkenny from 3pm as Dicksboro and James Stephens lock horns at club level for the first time this weekend before making our way to Netwatch Cullen Park for the Talbot Hotel intermediate football championship final between Naomh Eoin and Fenagh at 6pm.
On Sunday, we begin our live coverage at UPMC Nowlan Park for the first of two games at Kilkenny GAA HQ as Clara and Ballyhale Shamrocks run off their postponed senior championship quarter-final at 2pm, that one followed by the senior semi-final meeting of Dicksboro and James Stephens at 3.45pm.
Then at 4pm on our Carlow frequencies, we’ll be back in Netwatch Cullen Park for the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Carlow senior football championship final between Tinryland and Palatine, the first time the two sides have met in a senior county final since 1950.
In between all the games we’ll be hearing from the various managers, backroom teams and players involved across the weekend and keeping you up to date with the latest from the Premier League, racing in Gowran Park, soccer in Kilkenny and Carlow and much more besides.
Keep an eye on Scoreline.ie and our socials for links to all games this weekend or download the KCLR app to take the games on the go.
