Mullinvat’s Angela Kenneally is optimistic of Kilkenny’s chances when it comes to securing All-Ireland glory in the Intermediate Camogie Final in Croke Park this Sunday when her side take on the might of Cork.
“We seem to have peaked at the right time, we had a tough league campaign as we’d been waiting on some players to come back, some involved in colleges camogie and that, doing exams.
We really only got going at the start of the championship and we needed a good win – our first game against Tipp, we had a big win that day.
That really gave us the belief in ourselves and we went on, pushed on and performed from there.”
We’ll have full commentary and analysis of Kilkenny v Cork on the All-Ireland Intermediate Camogie Final this Sunday 11 September with thanks to Affidea, Kilkenny. That game throws in at 2pm.
