Following Sunday’s All-Ireland semi-final victory over Clare, the countdown is on to this year’s All-Ireland senior hurling championship final with Kilkenny set to meet Limerick in the decider for the second year running.

The Cats were 1-25 to 1-22 winners in Croke Park yesterday, a goal from Eoin Cody and late goalkeeping heroics by Eoin Murphy helping Derek Lyng’s side on their way to a return trip to GAA HQ in just under a fortnight’s time.

Save of the Century!?

Kilkenny goalkeeper Eoin Murphy uses up one of the Cats's lives as he saves an injury time shot by Peter Duggan of Clare during the All-Ireland SHC semi-final at Croke Park.
