The Academy Plaza Hotel

It’s like Christmas Day for hurling fans – the 2022 All-Ireland senior hurling championship final is here.

At 3.30pm, Kilkenny and Limerick will lock horns in Croke Park for the first time since 2019’s semi-final victory for the Cats, and the second time this century with Kilkenny also taking Limerick to task in the 2007 All-Ireland senior hurling final.

There’s a lot of water under the bridge since then and while the teams are out, the talking’s not done yet. We’ll be right in the thick of the action across your Sunday, beginning with a live show in Dublin on Sunday morning.

Join us to get fed for the day ahead, live from Dublin’s Academy Plaza Hotel, just off O’Connell Street, where we’ll be kicking off our matchday build-up at 11am right through 2pm.

  • Listen live on kclr96fm.com
  • Live live on the KCLR app

We’ll be hearing from fans and families, supporters and visitors and keeping you up to speed with developments across the morning, updates on matchday traffic, and getting you all the details you’ll need ahead of the game.

More importantly though, you can be a part of the whole process by sending your requests and best wishes for Kilkenny (or Limerick, if you’re inclined) to the studio. Here’s how to get involved…

  • Text or WhatsApp 083 3069696
  • Tweet us @scorelinesport or @kclr96fm
  • Pop us a message on Facebook here or here

or better still, come join us live at the Academy Plaza Hotel; get up early, get the breakfast in and get set for the biggest day of the year on the hurling calendar.
