All Things MMA is back, and so too is co-host Myles Price for his first outing of 2021
This week, we’re looking at the psychology side of the UFC’s main event for UFC 257: Poirier v McGregor 2, or just mainly looking at what happens next for Conor McGregor.
Without playing matchmaker – YET – we take a very early look, a cursory glance if you will, at UFC 258, 259 and 260 because some of the biggest title fights and biggest names are happening including for Q1 2021 – Stipe v Ngannou (260), Blachowicz v Adesanya (259) and Usman v Burns (258).
There’s plenty to chew on in the week following UFC 257, not least for The Notorious.
Outside of the damage to his leg in-cage, the Dubliner put his loss to Poirier down to relative inactivity, expressing his desire to get more rounds in for the year ahead.
But with two marquee losses, is the lightweight title ever further away for the former champion? Will it be Poirier 3 or Diaz 3 that marks his next appearance? Or will the UFC preserve their cash cow for one final double-or-nothing type event?
It’s these questions and more that we run through for this week, with All Things MMA also broadcast on Scoreline this Saturday just after 5pm.
