All Things MMA S3E8: Will chaos reign supreme after UFC 280? Does Aljamain Sterling get enough credit?

A lot happened at UFC 280 over the weekend as our MMA crew's predictions all went right out the window.

We’re closing in on the end of our autumn run for All Things MMA and this week, our Ken McGuire and Team Ryano Kilkenny’s Myles Price are going through the aftermath of UFC 280.

Last week, in a battle of head-v-heart, our MMA duo had settled on a Yan/Dillashaw/Oliveira winning run, all of which went out the window on a night where judging was called into question, undisclosed injuries played their part and future fights were nailed on.

This week, we’re recapping the three impact fights on the UFC 280 card and asking what comes next from each. With a decision victory over Peter Yan, Sean O’Malley has lept 10 places up the bantamweight rankings and is now considered next in line for a crack at Aljamain Sterling’s title. With Sterling’s wrestling credentials on show and an obvious size advantage at the weekend against a technically one-armed TJ Dillashaw, is Sterling getting enough respect or credit for his approach to fights of late? And with Islam and Oliveira ending with the former lightweight champion tapping to a head-and-arm choke, are we now in the Makhachev era?
