The Carlow Senior Hurlers are gearing up for the Christy Ring Cup final this Saturday evening against Antrim.
The sides will contest the final for the first time since 2006.
Antrim manager Terence McNaughton says their priority was building the team this year and doing well in the league but they’re focused on this final….
“Some might say that theres better out there that are not playing for Antrim, but that’s their choice for numerous reasons”
“We have a good core now and our focus is totally on the Christy Ring and we’d love to win the Christy Ring and get a crack at the playoffs.
“Our main goal this year was to get out of the league and get to a higher level and try and set foundations in place, how to have a lifestyle, how to behave to be part of a successful county team”.
