All-Ireland senior football quarter-finalists 2022

The draws for the 2022 All-Ireland senior football championship quarter-finals were made on Monday morning.

Cork – in with a rare chance of a hurling and football double – look like they have the toughest draw of the round as they take on Dublin, though Mayo too have a tricky task at hand and will need a big improvement over their performance against Kildare when they take on Kerry.

Armagh’s reward for a comprehensive victory over Donegal, including one of the fastest goals you’re going to see in any sport this year, is a quarter-final clash with Connacht champions Galway. while Ulster champions Derry take on Clare.

This year’s semi-finals will see the winners of Galway and Armagh take on Derry or Clare while the winners of Kerry and Mayo meet either Dublin or Cork.

Games take place over 25/26 June.

Thurles beckons this weekend for hurling

At 1.45pm it’s the meeting of beaten Leinster-finalists and Cork while Wexford will be mixing it up with beaten Munster-finalists Clare at 3.45pm.

We’ll know the lay of the land for Kilkenny’s All-Ireland senior hurling championship semi-final in the wake of Saturday’s games.
