Arsenal players and staff take 12.5% pay cut

Arsenal say the 12.5 percent pay cuts its staff are taking are based on the presumption the current season will be completed.

All first-team staff, Mikel Arteta and his backroom team have voluntarily agreed to the cuts.

The club say they’ll repay “agreed amounts” if they meet certain targets in the seasons ahead on the pitch.
