Carlow Rugby Club President elect Michael Carbery says that Portarlington are capable of defeating them on Sunday despite the fact it’s a top against bottom clash.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s Leinster League clash, Michael says they have tough challenges ahead.
“We have a couple of tough challenges ahead of us in all of the games. If you take Portarlington, ok they are bottom of the table with regard to where they are in tradition, but we went over to play them in the Plate last year and they beat us.
“If we don’t turn up, then we are vulnerable, if we turn up we are certainly going to give everyone a run for their money and everyone is capable of toppling us or anyone else on the day.
“I wouldn’t like to be cocky about it but we certainly play a good brand of Rugby and the type of Rugby we are playing should help us secure promotion going forward,” he said.
