Bagenalstown Gaels Junior Hurling Manager James Whelan says that Sunday’s Junior County Final against St. Mullins will be a cracker as both clubs already produced a thriller this year in terrible weather conditions.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s County decider, James says they will take a lot of confidence from their comeback in that particular game.
He said “It will be a cracking game on Sunday because like we have played over in Fenagh there during the year, and there was bad conditions now that evening for both teams”.
“The pitch was slippy but we went 13 points down 10 minutes into the second half in that end game and we came back and got them to within a point, it was a cracking 25 minutes of hurling in the second half so”.
