Bagenalstown Gaels Chairman George D’arcy says they have plenty to look forward to after adding the Intermediate County Championship success to their Minor County Football Final success two weeks ago.
Speaking to KCLR after last Saturday’s Intermediate Final, George says they will give the Leinster Championship a right go to enable them to compete well in Senior next year.
He said “Most County Finals are a kind of an end to the year. This is really a beginning for us as a new club”.
“We move on now and we play in Leinster but at the same time, we have something to look forward to, we now are back in the Senior Hurling Championship in Carlow and we will try our best over the Winter months and in the early part of next year to make sure that we are ready for that”.
