Ballyhale Shamrocks Senior Forward TJ Reid says the backroom team are very important in trying to keep them fresh as they continue the defence of their Leinster and All-Ireland Club titles.
The Kilkenny Champions are at home to St. Martins in Saturday’s Leinster Club Semi-Final and TJ says that staying fresh has been crucial to performing at their best in recent weeks.
He said “It is a long year and it is hard, but that’s when you have a good manager and a good physical trainer trying to keep us fresh”.
“We were very fresh all year, Henry(Shefflin) and the Team had us prepped all year and we came good in the last four weeks and it’s just to use that kind of motivation and to try and go on and win the All-Ireland again”.
