With Kilkenny’s ‘Magic’ Myles Price and Andy ‘The Carlow Kid’ Murphy already confirmed for BAMMA 30 this July, the local element of the fight card just got bigger.

Joining the Team Ryano Kilkenny fighters on BAMMA 30: Philpott v Walsh is fellow team mate, coach and Brazilian jiu-jitsu purple belt, Mick ‘Basher’ Brennan (4-7, pictured right, above) in what BAMMA are already predicting will be “an action packed battle”.

The latest bout for the 7 July event is a featherweight bout as Kilkenny’s Brennan looks set to take on Decky ‘The Diamond’ Dalton (6-3).

Stablemates Price and Murphy will be facing Philip Mulpeter (SBG) and Dylan Logan (SBG) respectively. BAMMA 30 is headlined by the World Bantamweight Championship bout of Shay Walsh and Alan ‘The Apprentice’ Philpott. Also announced today was the meeting of SBG’s Richie Smullen and Rhys ‘Skeletor’ McKee in a number one contender bout for the Lonsdale Lightweight championship.

Brennan’s previous BAMMA outing was at BAMMA 24 in Dublin in 2016, dropping a TKO loss to Wexford’s Brian Moore. Dalton also dropped his last BAMMA outing, more recently at BAMMA 28 in Belfast in February of this year, giving up a unanimious decision result to Jonathan Brookins.

BAMMA 30: Philpott Vs. Walsh takes place on Friday 7th July at the 3Arena, Dublin. Tickets are on sale now from http://bit.ly/BAMMA30
