Bennettsbridge Chairman Alan Flynn is not expecting a cagey contest between themselves and Erins Own Castlecomer in this evening’s (Saturday) First Round Senior Championship clash despite the loser been only one match away from been relegated.
Speaking to KCLR, Alan is expecting a gung-ho approach from both teams.
He said “We played them last year like after the long break and it was nothing in it, their was only a point in it, and they missed the chance to equalise, but at that stage we should have put the game to bed a bit earlier with a couple of chances”.
“They will be all gung-ho to win it and we will be all likewise so I don’t think it should be a cagey affair I think the prize is huge to go forward to a quarter-final and we have the ambition to go one step further than we did last year”.
