The final championship game of the local scene in Kilkenny goes to the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Kilkenny intermediate championship final between Danesfort and Thomastown.
Reflecting on the season on a whole, it’s the showdown that the fans wanted with Thomastown looking at making amends for missing out on a place in last year’s final while Danesfort were equally as hungry to get back to the big time following their 2020 relegation.
