Tricky conditions prevailed in John Locke Park on Saturday afternoon as Mullinavat’s Leinster intermediate club football championship journey came to an end at the hands of Fethard St. Mogues.
Trailing 0-04 to 0-02 at the break, the game sparked to life in the second half, despite the low scoring, Mullinavat pulling back level to four points apiece, then five. Chasing the game with bare minutes left in normal time, Fethard pulled away to wrap things up 0-07 to 0-05.
