The first semi-final of the day in the JJ Kavanagh and Sons Carlow Senior Hurling Championship saw Mount Leinster Rangers face Bagenalstown Gaels in Netwatch Cullen Park.
The game marked the first knockout championship clash of the senior campaign in Carlow.
