It’s a big night for St Canices FC as they play their first-ever divisional cup final.
The team is only recently formed but has progressed to the Jim Maher Memorial Cup Final in Derdimus Park tonight at 7 o clock against Tullaroan.
Eddie Clifford from St Canices says their focus is on winning and you can’t look beyond that.
“We’re looking forward to it, we played Tullaroan once already but, I wouldn’t even look into that game,” said Eddie.
“This Tullaroan side, they’re going to be a good side, they’ve knocked out Evergreen 46, they’ve knocked out Newpark, they’re not a bad team, and even from when we played them, I think it was 1-0, there was nothing in it”.
“They’re a tough team, they’re a very tough team and it’s going to be a tough game against them”.
