Turn the screw, tickety boo.

Well, tonight is the night, after all the action between club and county that Carlow GAA has brought you this year, why not sit back and relax with some B-I-N-G-O.

Yes, Gaelic Bingo goes ahead tonight with some big cash up for grabs for participants who are taking part.

We caught up with Carlow PRO Ger Doyle who was excited by the prospect of raising funds for clubs across the county;

“It is a no-brainer certainly for clubs, how could they turn down the opportunity where they do not have to put up any prise money, fund any websites or any platforms or pay any expenses.”

“They get a cohort of people within the club to play the game and they reap the rewards of every book they sell of 40%.”

“So I hope the clubs look at it that way.”

KCLR’s own Brendan Hennessey will be on hand to read out the numbers tonight, watch the below to get more information

Chairperson Jim Bolger outlined to Scoreline how such a project has been in the pipeline for a while;

“People are looking forwards to this, we met the club previously earlier in the year and planted the seed at that stage. We had a lot of different hoops to get where we are.”

“We are satisfied we are where we need to be. The clubs are back in and very enthusiastic about it, so it is all positive.”

You can grab your book online via the Gaelic Bingo Facebook page, but be sure to do so by 3 pm today.
