It’s Thursday, and as part of our buildup to this year’s All-Ireland senior hurling final on Sunday, KCLR Lunch is hitting the road on a Black & Amber county tour with thanks to Kilkenny County Council.

Today, John, Eddie and Pat are off in the KCLR fleet to

  • Mooncoin (around 10.30am)
  • Ferrybank (around 11.30am)
  • Mullinavat (12-2pm for KCLR Lunch)
  • Ballyhale, home of the current All-Ireland Club Hurling Champions (until 3pm)
  • The Butts in Kilkenny City (around 3.30pm)

If you see Team KCLR on the road this morning, be sure to pop on over and say hello while the lads are on air. There’ll be guests lined up along the route, a bit of music, a bit of craic, and a whole load of well-wishers for the Kilkenny team ahead of the big game on Sunday.

Don’t forget too that tonight we’re LIVE from Langton House Hotel in Kilkenny for our very special Guinness All-Ireland Preview Show with David Herity, Brendan Cummins, Andy Comerford, Michael Kavanagh, Damien Joyce and Joe Connolly all in discussion with our own John Walsh, Stephen Byrne and our commentary team of Brendan Hennessy and Michael Walsh.

It’s a ticket-only affair and if you’ve not got yours already you might be out of luck as it’s going to be a full house tonight. Those who registered in advance for tickets are automatically entered into tonight’s draw for one of five pairs of All-Ireland final tickets we’ll be giving away.
