Rachael Blackmore says that her intended mount Call the Taxi is definitely one to keep an eye on for next weeks Thyestes Chase.

Call the Taxi is trained by South Kilkenny trainer Ellemarie Holden, and speaking to KCLR at last nights Thyestes Chase launch, Rachael says that there is a lot going in the horses favor.

“He is 10 stone so he is a lovely weight. The ground, the trip, everything seems to be working in his favor so a bit of luck now on the day and I think he will run a very big race and definitely one to keep an eye on.

“It’s such a prestigious race and growing up it was always a race, where I would have really taking notice of the winners so it’s steeped in history and look it would be fantastic to win it,so it’s great to have a nice ride in so we will hope for the best,” she said.
