“Never in a million years would I have imagined I’d be able to accomplish all of this”
The words of Carlow native Blessing Kingsley, now representing South Mississppi University as she helped her side become West Division Champions.
A season full of historic moments came to an end as her side, the Golden Eagles, lost 1-0 to the Old Dominion Monarchs in the Conference USA Championship Final in Florida. Despite the loss, it was still a historic season for Kingsley and Co as they were named the Conference USA West Division winners for the first time in program history.

Kingsley has previously represented Ireland at under 17 level nine times and spent time with Wexford Youths, playing in the Champions League, before her move Stateside last year.
